Collaborative, thoughtful, evolving

~ Ben Franke

Three words to describe your practice?

I would say collaborative. I mean, we’ve kind of touched on that a little bit.

Thoughtful, you know, I try and think of the athletes perspective and think about, you know, a little bit on a deeper level as to why I’m doing what I’m doing and the kind of longer term repercussions of it. And how it can evolve.

Then evolve, is I think, the third word. How I can evolve my practice to be more thoughtful, create new and better work, and to challenge myself and the athletes I’m working with.

In the podcast, I talk with movement enthusiasts to learn who they are, what they do, and why they do it. I’m interested in the nature and philosophy of movement and in exploring themes like independence, self-direction, and human excellence. My interests color each conversation and provide some structure to Movers Mindset. But since I like to take the scenic route, every conversation ends up going somewhere unique.
