Self-improvement, discipline, adventure

~ Seth Ruji

Three words to describe your practice?

I think one which has been pretty apparent here is just the self-improvement focus— it’s not about a specific, what-it-is I’m trying to accomplish. It’s just about that process of finding my limits. And working toward that. Another one is probably, discipline. It’s super–important to me to be structured and consistent, and have a plan for what I’m working on. And Third is probably just adventure. Through parkour I’ve been able to open up my perspective on life a ton, and it’s created so many different opportunities that I am immensely grateful for, and has totally changed how I view the world. So yeah, that’s my three.

In the podcast, I talk with movement enthusiasts to learn who they are, what they do, and why they do it. I’m interested in the nature and philosophy of movement and in exploring themes like independence, self-direction, and human excellence. My interests color each conversation and provide some structure to Movers Mindset. But since I like to take the scenic route, every conversation ends up going somewhere unique.
