Couragous, calm, capable

~ Tori Kubick

Three words to describe your practice?

I would say courageous, calm, and capable. So you need to be courageous. So you have to have that first instinct. And then calmness is everything. That’s the only way to do it. If you take out that, that comes out of the equation, it’s not going to work. And then once you find the calmness, you see that you are capable of so much more. And that’s the best part when you know when you’re like that, like things seem impossible. And then you overcome that. And you realize that you are capable all alone. That’s the best feeling.

In the podcast, I talk with movement enthusiasts to learn who they are, what they do, and why they do it. I’m interested in the nature and philosophy of movement and in exploring themes like independence, self-direction, and human excellence. My interests color each conversation and provide some structure to Movers Mindset. But since I like to take the scenic route, every conversation ends up going somewhere unique.
